Within the corporate editorial ecosystem she set up for Bongénie Grieder, Valérie Fromont took on the creative direction of iconographic productions, whose images fuelled the magazines as well as Bongénie Grieder’s campaigns. Bringing in talents from all horizons, she has shaped creative alchemies and established loyal collaborations with photographers such as Andreas Ortner, Stian Foss, Benny Horne and David Vasiljevic, as well as stylists Philipp Junker, Yvonne Wigger and Margherita Moro. She has federated and coordinated teams of 15 to 30 people to carry out high-end and large-scale productions in Switzerland, Spain, Paris, and New York. From concept to storytelling, casting to budget management, negotiating image rights to coordinating styling and post-production, she oversees every stage of the creative process. Campaigns, advertorials, E-commerce, each shooting is designed to feed a constellation of media, both off-line and digital – some of which are highlighted below. Beyond fashion photography, Valérie Fromont favors illustration as an integral part of staging the spirit of a collection, a statement, a brand, or a publication. As such, she has chosen and commissioned illustrators such as Tadahiro Uesugi, Aurore de la Morinerie and Dominique Corbasson. With her co-editor Stéphane Bonvin, they ensured a clear artistic direction and visual line, and were involved in the meticulous follow-up of these iconographic collaborations with this pool of illustrators.
